明写館Meisyakan

　　明写館，取自寧波舊稱「明州」的明，「写真」的写。在日本生活的幾年里各地奔走，常常偶遇各種以地域為名的寫真館，它們被稱之為「館」，總覺得被賦予了一種氣節和儀式感。

 

      明朗，與日月為伴。写實写意，写一個人的眉宇，一對璧人的情誼，或就只是描繪一段綢布。明写館成立於2019年的春分，又幸運地在2020年的春分擁有了線下空間，並衍生出了展覽、雜貨、workshop等枝葉。

　Meisyakan, whose name taken from “Mingzhou”, as Ningbo used to be called, and the Chinese character of “photography”. In years stayed in Japan, we met kinds of photo galleries named by their cities. They are all called as “Kan”, the ancient way of naming gallery, given the particular feeling of integrity and ceremonial.

   Brightness, with “sun” and “moon” in character, takes the importance to seize one’s face, the love between a pair, or just a piece of cloth. Meisyakan started in spring equinox of 2019, and fortunately owns offline space in the same period of 2020, extending to exhibition, groceries and other functions.
